This event marked the first time that the Federal Board has introduced the Inter-Tech stream of technical education, setting a precedent for other educational boards in the country by playing a leading role in the promotion of technical education.

The Federal Board's efforts to promote technical education have resulted in a significant increase in the number of affiliated technical institutes at the intermediate level, growing to 183 within a very short span of one and a half years. Moreover, the number of students appearing for these examinations has surged from zero to over 7,000.

The Minister of Education reviewed and praised these outcomes, expressing optimism that the Federal Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (FBISE) would continue its efforts to promote technical education, which is essential for the nation's future. Federal Secretary for Education, Mr. Mohiuddin Ahmed Wani, and Senior Joint Secretary/Chairman of the Federal Board, Syed Junaid Akhlaq, also pledged their full cooperation in supporting the promotion of technical education across the country.
