Together, We Can Make a Difference
Support Education for Children with Special Needs
An Initiative by the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MOFEPT)
MOFEPT is committed to ensuring that every child, regardless of ability, has access to quality education in an inclusive, supportive, and safe environment. As part of this mission, MOFEPT has launched a comprehensive uplift program aimed at transforming special education across Pakistan.
Our Vision: Inclusive Education for All
At MOFEPT, we believe that education transcends the boundaries of the classroom. We are revitalizing five flagship special education institutions to be fully child-centred, inclusive, and accessible. These upgrades include modernized classrooms, enhanced residential facilities, and comprehensive accessibility improvements. A key goal is to provide 24/7 medical care and support services to ensure the holistic development and well-being of every child.
Modern Tools & Assistive Technologies
To enrich learning experiences, MOFEPT provides technologies and digital tools to assist hearing and visually impaired students. In collaboration with the National Book Foundation, textbooks are being transcribed into Braille, and state-of-the-art Braille printing facilities are being upgraded for greater inclusion.
Specialized Support & Care
Recognizing each child’s unique needs, MOFEPT is investing in professional expertise — including prosthetics specialists, therapists, and special educators. Adaptive furniture, inclusive play areas, and accessible learning environments are being introduced across all centers.
