Principal IMCG F-6/2, Professor Aaliya Durrani welcomed all the guests and appreciated the efforts of TECH valley, Teachers and coordinators. She thanked honorable Secretary of Education and DG FDE for choosing IMCG F 6/2 as the center of excellence of this advantageous project. The google for education pilot programme is one of the first steps to apply google technology in education in Pakistan. Mr Umar Farooq CEO Tech Valley thanked DG FDE and Principal IMCG F6/2 for the cooperation they provided. He further added that soon they are going to launch a 2nd center of excellence project in Islamabad. Chris Malone from PANL, CEO CTL Erick Stromquist expressed their views through recorded message. Chief Guest Waseem Ajmal distributed certificates, shields and chrome books among the students and teachers.3 chrome books were separately awarded to Ms Riffat Jabeen, professor Aaliya Durrani and IT Incharge IMCG F6/2 Ms Saheena Naz.Mr Waseem Ajmal, chief guest of the ceremony appreciated the efforts of FDE for making plan of removing the concept of heavy bags from schools under its ambit. He enlightened the importance of digital work. He also offered scholarship to the teachers who want to compete at international exams of excellence. He thanked Google team, TECH valley and all coordinators for the success of the project. At the end respected principal Professor Aaliya Durrani thanked the worthy guests and presented bouquet and college insignia to chief guest.
